We offer folders in standard A4+ and A5+ sizes, as these are the formats most commonly requested by businesses. However, we can design and produce folders to virtually any size and capacity required.

When presenting an information pack, you need a folder that is large enough to hold all the relevant information, while still being compact and comfortable to handle. It also needs to accommodate any existing printed materials, helping you avoid the unnecessary cost and inconvenience of reprinting your current contents.

Capacity

How much information you want to include in the folder? At Peppermint Print we produce folders with a choice of capacity for all quantities of information so determine whether the folder should have a capacity or not and if so how much it should be. Too much capacity and the sheets will fall out, not enough and the folder will look squashed.

As a simple guide, based on uncoated 90gsm paper, we would suggest:

No capacity: up to approximately 20 sheets
3mm capacity: up to approximately 30 sheets
4mm capacity: up to approximately 40 sheets
5mm capacity: up to approximately 50 sheets
6mm capacity: up to approximately 60 sheets
10mm capacity: up to approximately 100 sheets.

Quality Finishes

The front cover of a folder is the first thing potential clients will see, so it's important to get this exactly right. We offer a range of existing templates that you're free to customise as you see fit, but you can also design your own folder – ideal for creative companies who want to show off what they can do. Whilst 400gsm Silk is our standard stock, we can also provide a besboke quote for using uncoated or gloss coated boards. All folders can be gloss or matt laminated to make them more durable and long lasting. We can also provide spot UV finishes which add a touch of class to any design.

Artwork Requirements

When submitting artwork, please send us two files: one with the artwork template visible and overlaid on your artwork, and another with the template removed, displaying only your artwork. We use the first document to check your files are accurate, and we will proof and print the second document.
