If you plan to hang your banner in an exposed outdoor area where it might be affected by the wind, we recommend using a mesh banner. Mesh banners are made from a lightweight 290gsm PVC mesh, perforated with thousands of tiny holes that allow for 37% airflow, offering superior wind resistance as the air to passes through and thus reduces drag, minimising the strain on both the banner and its fixings. These banners are printed with vibrant, UV-stable and scratch-resistant inks, ensuring they are weatherproof and long-lasting. While the perforations make the material slightly see-through, the image remains clear and impactful when viewed from a distance. The material is M1/B1 fire-rated, meeting UK and European fire safety standards and each banner is finished to your exact requirements with standard finishing options included. These mesh banners are ideal for applications such as scaffolding wraps, large building banners, Heras fencing, or crowd control barriers. The perferations alow some light to pass through, ensuring that windows and interiors are not completely darkened when used on buildings. Mesh banners are also lighter than standard PVC banners, making them easier to handle, install, and less likely to damage the surfaces they are attached to.
